Aaron Dawson

Aaron Dawson is our Missional Life Minister and has been serving at Monterey since August 2003. He and his wife Deanna have four children together, including one adopted special needs daughter. They enjoy board games, bike rides, and sugar. The Dawson family currently has two guinea pigs and no goats. Aaron graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Family from Lubbock Christian University and obtained his Master’s in Divinity from Abilene Christian University. Fun Fact: Aaron is not unlike Wolverine because his spine is clad in titanium. Aaron loves frisbee, all things outdoors, and enjoys playing guitar (he’s trying to convince his son, Will, to enjoy it too!). Aaron loves the verse Isaiah 35:1-7 because it’s a beautiful image of a broken world being nourished by the waters of God. Other staff members say his spiritual gifts are compassion, service, and empathy.
