Christi Sanders

Christi Sanders has been serving as one of Monterey’s Children Ministers since August 2010, doing everything with kids from birth through 5 th grade. Her and her husband Kevin, her highschool sweetheart, have been married for 26 years and have three children together- Addison, Cooper, and Ryder. They also have a Morkie named Bella. Christi graduated from Lubbock Christian University with her Bachelor in Elementary Education, and prior to working at Monterey was a stay-at-home-mom. Christi’s favorite book in the Bible is Isaiah, with chapter 43 being her go-to. She finds it comforting in how it conveys that life is hard, but no matter what we’re going through, God is with us- we are not alone. Christi’s favorite pastime is shopping at TJMaxx- no matter where she is, if she sees one, she stops! She also enjoys spending most of her extra time watching her boys play baseball. Other staff members say Christi’s spiritual gifts are teaching, gentleness, and compassion.
