Joey Drumright

Joey Drumright is our Congregational Life Minister and has been serving here at Monterey since May of 2005. Joey married his wife, Erin, in 2004 and they have three kiddos together - Zoe, Sophie, and Malcom. Joey graduated from Lubbock Christian University with his Master of Science in Bible and Ministry, and prior to working at Monterey worked in insurance for thirteen years. His favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 12:7b-10. Joey loves being in the mountains, chai tea lattes, and spending time with his family. He’s also a huge movie buff, and hates asparagus (weird). You can usually find Joey wearing a flat cap or cardigan - perhaps both if you’re lucky. Other staff members say Joey’s spiritual gifts are counseling, creativity, and administration.
