Scotty & Cindy Elston

Scotty Elston has been serving as an elder at Monterey since 2015. He and his wife, Cindy, have been married for 33 years and have two children together- Elizabeth and Connor who are married to Austin and McKenna. They also have four grandchildren, with three of them born within five days of each other in 2019! Scotty and his wife attended Abilene Christian University, graduating in 1983. Scotty acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business and has worked in agricultural investment for 37 years. Scotty loves running, hunting, gardening, and his grandchildren- who call him “Papas” because of how he loves potatoes. His favorite verse is John 6:29, and other staff members say his spiritual gifts are serving, empathy, and discernment.
