Sean Collins
Sean Collins joined the Monterey team in May of 2017, and his ministry responsibilities include administrative operations, finance and accounting, IT, safety and risk management, human resources, and facilities management. He loves the diversity of his job/ministry and appeals to Monterey’s mission: “Love God, Love Others”.Although he was born in Washington and raised in Colorado, Sean attended school at Atkins M.S., Monterey H.S., and graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA degree, along with some graduate work through Liberty University. He also brings 20+ years of management and executive administration to our congregation. Sean and his wife Kristie have been married since 1988 and have three amazing children and a pretty cool dog – Kelsie, Cade, Jaycie and Tucker the yorkie - and have been members at Monterey since 1999. Kelsie is an ACU grad and Minister in Abilene, Cade is a Colorado Christian grad and heading to work at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, and Jaycie attends Frenship H.S. and is interested in pursuing nursing. As a family, they enjoy eating, movies, and social gatherings. You may not know that Sean served in the Army and Army Reserves which also includes service in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. He is an avid Denver Broncos, Boston Redsox, and Red Raider fan, enjoys green chili, exercising, hiking, and helping people. He believes his spiritual gifts to be administration, faith, and service, and has found that the Bible verse that most defines his faith is Isaiah 41:10.
